Make Me Feel Autumnal

Although Florida's version of Fall isn't as distinct as in NY, the last few nights have been much cooler and it's been quite the delightful treat. 

In honor of the Autumnal Equinox, 

here are just a few things that I love about Autumn!

Pumpkin pie: Happiness in my mouth. 

You may think I'm crazy, but I am such sucker for Libby's Easy Pumpkin Pie Mix. It's SO stinkin' good!!!! It's my go-to lazy festive pie.

Here in Florida, I just crank up the AC at night and pretend I'm back in NY. hehe **Le Sigh.**

Cozy nights in with the Beau.

 During the summer we like to enjoy the great weather and the long days. Once Autumn hits, it feels great to just stay in and relax.

Ever have one of those days...

Where you need heavy retail therapy? ...

Like, serious Carrie Bradshaw can't pay her rent cause she maxed out her credit card at Barney's retail therapy? 

One of those day where after that you want to go to the spa and get a massage, facial, a mani/pedi and want your hair cut and colored?

ahhh, I definitely need a facial soon. 

One of those days where after the spa you want to put on your new shoes, new cocktail dress and call your girlfriends to go out... to some fabulous event and drink champagne.

Today was one of those days.

 I, of course, responsibly restrained myself but do like to treat myself a little and it always makes me feel better. 

Unfortunately, my girlfriends are miles away and do miss them dearly, but I'm glad that just taking a little time to myself and reevaluating things makes all the difference in making my day better.

It's true. 

As the wise (and sometimes not so wise) Carrie Bradshaw once said, "I've been cheating on fashion with furniture." 

Well, it's totally okay with me though because I collect furniture like I do shoes. 

I have to have somewhere to store them, no?
