Top 10 iPhone Photography Apps

I'll be the first one to admit that I sometimes have Instagram photo editing envy. It's a real thing. There's nothing more frustrating than seeing a rad picture on Instagram and not knowing how the person made it so...rad. For the most part people don't like to share how they produces their magic, but this magician is going to reveal their secrets. Here are my top ten picks for iPhone photo editing Apps and my respectfully edited photos. Best of all, most of them are free.

1. Squaready (free) -  The pretty white background. Photo envy galore. Allows the photo to not be square and the background to be white.

2. Symbolgram (free) - Shapes on your picture or framing your pictures with the capability to lower the opacity to create a faded effect.

3. Picfx($1.99)- In my opinion the best Bokeh and other unique filters like galaxy themed. Totally worth two bucks!

4. Piclab (free) - For  adding captions to pictures. Has some of the better fonts out there in case you're into this sort of thing.

(This is Company, our cat, pondering by the pond.)

5. VSCOcam - awesome filters and great for fading picture. More from appadvice here.

6. Reflection (free) - Mirrors your images.

7. PicFrame (free) - Great for collaging

8. Labelbox (free) - exactly that. Labeling.

9. AfterLight ($0.99) - awesome color and light filters and different shapes as frames. Cool to play with but I feel like I can achieve similar results by using many different apps, this just saves you the hassle.

10. Instagram (free) - the good good. If you're new to this planet, here is the basic gold standard. Great social media platform and had good filters for photos and videos.

Home Sweet Charlotte.

This weekend I'm going home to Charlotte to see my family! My little baby broski (Fernando) just graduated from Army IT school and I and super excited to go home and spend some time with him before he ships off to Korea.

I'm sure I'll be Instagramming while I'm there so feel free to follow me around. ;)

Other than that, I'm super excited to ravage  hit up my all time favorite Charlotte thrift stores and find me some goodies.

I've come up with a challenge for myself and I'll be sure to post my outcome within the next week or two. I'm giving myself a $100 budget for work clothes, including shoes, for 5 day work week. If you want to see how far I stretch my dollar, be sure to come back over and check it out! And if you're really brave, you can always be my friend

Ok. So I got some 'splaining to do...

Sorry for the hiatus.

You might have noticed the new look on the blog. A new hair cut and a fresh shade of lipstick can work wonders on a neglected blog.

I'll start by quickly updating you on what has happened over the past month.

Sold my old car.
Went on vacation.
Landed an awesome job.
Got the cat fixed. (Sorry Dex!)
Trashed the house by rearranging.

... and now I want to fix it and make it more betta.

On top of all of the things that have been keeping me from writing, I think I went through a creative drought. Is that even possible? I don't even know. I had this hazy funk of nothingness glooming over my eyeballs and my brain was hosting alien activity tapped out of juice or something.
BUT,  now that I'm back to my old tricks again, I'll be here, just sharing away all the juicy deets with you folks. All 3 of you.

I have a few projects in mind and in progress, so stop by again soon to check them out.

Oh! And if you ever miss me so badly it hurts, you can always find me on Instagram. just sayin'.
